Hi Carol and all, This problem gets worse! I have now tried all the drivers, including the "windows default", which is stated on the H.J. webpage (video) as being compatible with JfW 3.2 and Windows 98. If it is, I don't know what the problem is. Colours and resolution are now set to 8 by 6 and 256 colours but still crashes. For fun I also tried 32 bit/ true colours but that made no difference too! The same problem as I described before still exists and prevents me from using my desktop. Thankfully, I have a second computer! This really annoys me, it is bad enough that JfW has serious problems with many common video cards, but for Henter-Joyce to claim it *is* compatible when this appears not to be the case. Have I wasted another �80 on a non-compliant card? This is now my third video card! My original "SPEA BigWin" wasn't compatible when I first purchased JfW, so I bought a S3 ViRGE, which H.J. also previously claimed to be compliant, and now, one recommended by H.J. that also doesn't function with JfW. Incidentally, I wrote to H.J. tech support, but guess what?, no reply! Wouldn't be great if Jaws would work with a computer "out of the box"?! Any further help would still be much appreciated.
