Hi Tom,
If you have a Config.sys file, add the following line to it.
SWITCHES=/C
This is necessary because windows bypasses the original way that DOS
used to use for writing to the screen. I'm not sure what to do if you
are using Win98.

Thanks for all of the suggestions on the DOS problem I was having. You
were
right, I needed to check the box in advanced settings. I have another
question. I downloaded the free jaws for dos. I'm using a Transport
for a
synthesizer. I've chosen Accent S A. I also tried many different
settings:
parameter, data length, Etc. the best I can get out of it is reading
the
DOS prompt. If i do d i r command or something, it reads garbage. Any
suggestions? Thanks in advance.
Tom
