Henter-Joyce Announces New VP of Sales; Damery Promoted to VP of Business
Development

Henter-Joyce, Inc., the world's leading developer of screen access
technology for the blind and visually-impaired, is proud to announce the
recent appointment of Sharon L. Spencer to the position of Vice President
of Sales. Former Vice President of Sales, Eric Damery, has been promoted to
Vice President of Business Development. Both Spencer and Damery will report
to Henter-Joyce General Manager Gerald J. Bowman.

Before coming to Henter-Joyce, Spencer was employed as Director of Business
Development for MarketSource Corporation, specializing in development of
sales, marketing and support systems for Fortune 500 companies including
Apple Computer, AT&T and IBM. She previously served as Vice President of
Customer Education for Tech Data Corporation and Director of Customer
Support for IBM.

Damery, who served as Vice President of Sales at Henter-Joyce from February
1994 until his promotion this month, has been instrumental in the growth of
the Henter-Joyce customer base and the ongoing development of the JAWS for
Windows and MAGic product lines. His new position at Henter-Joyce will
combine both of these capabilities, allowing him to identify and develop
new relationships and strengthen existing ties to corporate and government
clients such as UPS, Federal Express, CitiBank, IBM, Unisys, ITG, and Sun
Microsystems. Damery will also continue to establish and maintain
international sales and development relationships.

"In the past two years, Henter-Joyce sales and staff have grown rapidly and
the nature of our business has changed," said General Manager Gerald J.
Bowman. "Bringing Sharon on board and expanding Eric's responsibilities
will allow us to better serve the end users of our products. We look
forward to the coming year and the changes that it will bring and are
completely confident in Sharon's and Eric's ability to meet the challenges
and opportunities that we face."

Spencer is the most recent of a number of new staff members at
Henter-Joyce, in a year in which the company's staff more than doubled. The
staff at Henter-Joyce now includes 11 developers, 12 technical support
engineers, a sales staff of 15, a three-member training department, five
test engineers and 21 additional managerial and support staff members.
