Hi,
Usually, March is not a good month for me physically Since my asthma seems
to be allergic in nature, around March, things begin to change a little and
that is when I have to start using the machine more. I have only used the
machine a couple times since you left so they are pretty pleased with that.
I think it was just a combination of things today. The news from my
brother was quite upsetting and the fact that he is haunting me by phone is
upsetting. I would help anybody I could but I can't do what I can't do and
I won't take out a loan for him. I know when I got the computer it was
meant to be because God provided overtime out of nowhere and I believe he
was telling me it was His will that I could get it then if I was willing to
work hard. I believe it is God's will for me to eliminate my credit debts
so I hve committed not to use credit this year unless it is a term 30 days
or less. Even though my credit rating is good, the less debts I have, the
better. Besides, if God ever brings us together, I don't want to bring in
any debts to that union and if there were any, I would be totally
responsible for whatever I had before that union. Either way, I know it's
God's will for me to work on getting rid of them. I don't ask too many
people for help and try to do what I can myself in all areas. I'm not
saying there's something wrong with asking for help but I believe God wants
us to try first. I guess I was upset about the big computer, too for a few
days because I couldn't understand what happened. I am still pretty new at
this stuff so maybe in a year from now a crash would not be a big deal but
I just wasn't ready yet for that. I don't know if you understand that but
I mean what I am doing now I would never have been able to do a year ago.
I laid down most of the day but I feel okay now. Another problem today was
they were shampooing the rugs in the hall at work and as I was sitting
there, it was more and more difficult to breathe so I believe I had a
serious asthmatic reaction to the chemicals they were using. I'm okay now.
It's hard to explain my family. I love my brother but our life styles are
so drastically different. I haven't seen him in awhile. I wouldn't mind
them for a weekend or something but I'd have to use the machine at the
maximum. I asked my doctor about visiting you because I know it is hot
there but she said I will have to use the machine 4 times a day max even if
I dont't think I'm in trouble. She thinks I should be okay so long as I do
that. I need to purchase that machine with a rechargeable battery. My
brother is calling me right now as I'm writing to you but I didn't answer.
I just don't know what else i can tell him. I feel bad I don't have the
money for him. I have a $420 city tax bill due in a couple weeks and my
next phone bill will be high so I don't think it's God's will that I get
behind in my own bills. Well, I will finish going through my mail and
deleting the junk. I joined the eudora lite list and the jaws lite list.
Maybe I can help some people on the jaws lite list. I had a weird
experience with the computer. When I tried to connect to eudora, when I
pressed control m, the machine made that noise that it makes when it starts
booting up with those two tones. I had to restart three times and finally
connected to microserve first, then to eudora. I think next week, I'm
going to uninstall eudora and my qualcom folder and reinstall the other
version. Is the last version we had 4.2 or 4.0? Also, I still have them
both in my programs folder so when I uninstall 4.1, I can just click on the
one in my folder can't I? I do feel okay now physically. I'm disappointed
we are not getting the snow we were supposed to. I like snow when it is
new and fluffy. It's neat to walk in it when it is new. So did they win
or what? I wonder why the laptop did that when I tried to connect. That
never happened and it is plugged in. I think I need to get an extra
battery as soon as possible. I'd like to get a charger, too because if
something happened to this one, I'd be up the creek. Well, I'll let you go
for now. I'll have to play with those text files but I'll send you one
from jaws that the computer saved. I can't believe there are 1,200
textfiles in my system that I didn't even know about. I did delete one by
moving it to the recycle bin. I had to go to save as and then save and
then when I got out of the file, I was able to delete it and move it to the
recycle bin but hopefully, there is an easier way. The help file doesn't
really say much. I guess it was pretty good I figured out that quick view
thing. I'll be at work tomorrow.
