Thanks to all that have provided suggestions on how we can fix the mail
problems on the jfw list. If you have anything further to say on this

Please discontinue discussions of this topic on the jfw list.
I'll let everyone know of any further developments.
A few things
1. The chat room idea sounds good, I suggest it be on irc as that seems
to be the most accessable to most people.
If someone wants to set it up and let me know the details.
2. The suggestion that people should read all the jfw messages before
replying to anything is also a good idea. This would prevent multiple
same answers to a question being posted.
3. A new system will be started soon, you will be placed on post restrict
if you continue to post off topic messages. This means that any message
posted by you to the jfw list will be reviewed by me before I allow it to
appear on the list. The post will be checked whenever I have time. it
could be up to 48 hours after sending. note this is only for those who
are placed on the post restrict list. You will be informed of this when
it becomes fully implemented.
It is currently working, but only on a small scale.
4. I'm currently investigating a new web based archiving service, it will
hopefully be up and running this week. It should allow you to search
through jfw mail archives etc. Hopefully people will use this and be able
to find answers easily.
I'll announce when this service is available.
