Yes. I wasn't aware of the fact about DecTalk Access, since I have a
DecTalk Express. However, I'm sure there are a number of specialized
applications (and not only for the blind) which use authorization and
protection methods. It seems to be most prevalent, as was earlier
suggested, among highly specialized applications, e.g., Gerber Signware.
