My system specs are 350 p2, 8.4 hard drive, 128 megs ram, just changed back
to 3v trio diamond stealth dram using gtw950268 driver highly recomended by
diamond and was taken right off their sight. Also, jaws 32, defc 3external,
dos using vocaleyes, run in dos shell using batch files to make this work,
and if I unload jaws before going into shell, works like a charm. Dekstop
is standard, and all settings are well up to Jaws specifications.
I have done every test. I went into dos and sent a copy file function to
com1, which started the modem. I then changed video cards, and nothing. I
then changed to com2 and reloaded jaws choosing nt or express 95 only now
is myyy choice. Basically, I've doen everything.
I think it is a simple setting for the mere fact that I also plugged
the
express into the other timy system I have, loaded jaws under a different
directory, so it ran by itself using dec express, and it worked like a charm.
There is something with this particular system that is the cause of the dec
express to do this. I have been in contact with the builder of my system
who has been a great help and though there is much work being done, it
seems like a rare problem that has to be fixed, but as of yet just can't
