Visual Basic can be used, but if you have a chance to get a copy of the software
beforehand,
that might be a good idea. The interface is indeed quite Visual as are most of the
examples of applications in most of the books I've read.
It can be made to work passibly well with Jfw without sighted assistence, but it relies
extensively on a feature called the toolbox wherein many of its controls are housed.
This "toolbox" is essentially inaccessable to us and when I wrote Henter Joyce, they
replied that they "didn't support Visual Basic 6".
Another example of our friends at Microsoft abandoning their own standard window
classes in favor of
some jive notion of glamor.
