Hi, Marsha here.  I, too have heard that PC Typer does not work in the
Windows environment.  However, if a student is just learning to type, the
DOS version of the program is enough to get him started.  Then, when he has
learned the skills, then he/she could go work with another program such as
Microsoft Word or other word processors that are now more in the
mainstream.  No, many of the JFW list members have commented that this
program does not work in the Windows environment so it would not be a good
idea to waste your time trying to make it work.
