Hi List,
Well here is the question!
I want to install JFW 3.2 on a Pentium 2 with 32 megs of ram and a S3 Video
card.
Sound allright so far?

What I want to know is which sound card to use because I want to use a **
Software Synth ** and be able to play other wave files at the same time
I.E. ** Real Media Files ETC **

OK here is the question!

I have seen mentioned on this list recently quite a lot about the **
Soundblaster Live Card ** from Creative Labs.

I have been told that with the latest drivers that this card can play
several waves at the same time.

Is this right?

OK here is the problem.

On the weekend I was loking at not one but TWO! Soundblaster Live Cards!!

Ok one was $299 and came with a bonus set of PC Works speakers at no extra
charge this pack was called the Soundblaster Live Value Pack..

The second one that I looked at was $499 and was also called the
Soundblaster Live but did not come with the bonus PC speakers as a matter
of fact the only difference was that this ** Dearer Sound Card ** was the
fact that it came with a** DIGITAL I O CARD **
Do I need this Digital I O card with the Soundblaster Live Card or not?

Or can I just buy the first card with the bonus speakers?

So can all you people using the ** Soundblaster Live ** with success with
I.E. Elequense and other wave files at the same time please help me make
the right decision.
Maybe someone could tell me a actuall model number of the Soundblaster Live
Card so that I can match it up to the right one.

Hope someone can help.

Steve...
