Hi fellow listers,
I thought I would give jfw scripting a try. Following Ken Gould's script
manual instructions to the letter, I finally composed the first script
successfully, after failing about thirty or fourty times in a row to exit
script manager dialogue with one press of my enter key, on my machine I had
to use the enter key twice in order to exit from the script manager into the
script manager notepad edit text area. Finally, I got the script SayName to
say my name when I pressed control+shift+n. Wow! Success at last.
This is where the problem begins.
When I am in a MS Word office dialogue box for the menu choice of open... if
I use the letter n in a file name, it will say my name plus it will not
allow me to open the file by using this menu choice if it has the letter n
in the title of the file I wish to open.
I have deleted the notepad file of SayName and it still does it.
How can I solve this problem?
