Searching For Highlighted Text

I understand that the JAWS command: control + insert + right arrow will
move the cursor to the next highlighted text in Word.  What is meant by
highlighted?  I tried searching for bolded text this way without success.

Also, is there anyway to get JAWS to identify a change in the appearance of
the text automatically, without stopping to use insert f or insert 5?
