One other thing that is beginning to annoy me and others a lot is all the
questions about how to do things in your email program. A lot of these
questions are not jfw related. It shouldn't be the job of the jfw mailing
list to teach people how to use their email programs.
I'm sorry about this but I'm getting a little tired of all the off topic
messages. If it continues for much longer without any change, I will
close the list down. I'm not going to continue if people just ignore what
I say. I started this list to help people with jfw and jfw only. general
windows applications problems should be discussed somewhere else.
We've had a lot of people unsubscribe recently due to all the off topic
messages. about 50 unsubscribes so far. Some of these are people that
have been on the list since the beginning and have helped a lot of you.
But it seems that they have had enough wading through off topic messages.
If you people want to get help with jfw on this list, you are going to
have to think about what you are posting before you do it. If its not a
jfw related problem. Don't post it here.
if your not sure if its jfw related, its probably ok to post it. But
remember that not all your windows problems are the fault of jfw.
