Here are my thoughts after installing Quicken 99 and playing with it:
For any new user or prospective user, buy Quicken 98 and not Quicken 99
until someone develops scripts for the latter. The 98 scripts do not work
with 99.
For an existing user of Quicken 98 who feels confident with that program and
does not mind using the Jaws cursor and clicking with it, it is possible to
use Quicken 99 effectively if not efficiently. However, at least so far, I
have found little in Quicken 99 to warrant the extra work--and
frustration--necessary to use Quicken 99. It does not seem to add much for
the average blind user.
Once again, these are my observations on admittedly limited usage of Quicken
99.
