I don't use DecTalk either, and maybe you are right, it could be a
synthesizer problem...however, if it is a synthesizer problem, then it is a
problem that only occurs when the JAWS Find command is used, and the text
searched for isn't located! Any ideas on how that happens? What does the
synthesizer do differently when the text searched for is located, since all
works just fine then! Is there a reason the synthesizer won't let the JAWS
Find window close, but will allow other programs to run at the same time
successfully? Don't mean to be sarcastic, but with all those variables, I'd
say it is possibly a problem with JFW's Find command and some other software
that might have modules loaded at the same time, before I'd call it a
synthesizer problem, since it'd be pretty hard to pin it on the DoubleTalk
when it only happens on that one particular screen! Why would the
synthesizer care which screen was being displayed, especially since I can go
through Ok buttons all day long with no problem!<g>
