Hi all, I have now resolved this problem with elequence and i thought that i had better let you all no what i did! I went in to the add/remove in the control panel and looked at the files that maybe giving me the problems, I found a program called text to speach 3.0, I removed this program and restarted windows, however this didn't get elequence working infact it didn't work at all! I unchecked jfw from running and proceded to reinstall jfw off the cd rom, i didn't remove the jfw3.2 at all I just reinstalled it over the top of the version I had already installed! I did however unload jfw from memory, and installed it again... what I don't quite understand is I asked to use the murge program and when i run jfw I had to reinstall the patches 3.219 and the new default scripts for jfw3,2 and installed 3.231 also the new elequence too! again! don't no quite why but scripts that I have running cakewalk pro 8 are still ok, and some other scripts that I have working other programs are working and didn't have to reinstall them does anyone no why! anyway elequence is now working as well as ever, infact it is better, this newer version anyway, the english is better, i like it! I have had a problem with elequence for a while now, i downloaded the new elequence last night and thought that this problem would disapear once the new elequence was installed... i installed it and no! i think the problem is that i have on here the microsoft agent installed and i think this has something to do with the elequence not working in the first place, i have the magic spell for icq installed and this uses ms agent is this the problem do you think, is the new elequence going to ever work properly again on here, i think the problem is the msapi3 i think its called, and this uses msapi4 is this it! will the new jfw3.3 have the new version of msapi included on the program and i will beable to use elequence again! I have got some speach with it, but it is sporadic, it will speak some of the icons on the desk top but not all of them.. it will speak through a menu but not all of a menu, it will read a piece of text in a word processror or a program but doesn't want to read the menu's in the word processor! if anyone can help i would be grateful!
