Hi listers.
I thought some tips on using the new JFW 3.3 beta features would come in
handy. Most of them are in the help menus, but it took me some time to find
them.
Things such as the cursor shape change announce, say all method, etc. are in
the configuration manager under default settings. Some of these may be able
to be changed in specific applications, but I didn't test this.
The Jaws Task list is gotten to by INSERT-F10. It looks like the same list
you get by hitting ALT-TAB, but I'm not positive on this. It does have the
one added bonus of acting as a list box, and it's easier to get to
applications in it. It's sort of like the window list in Windows 3.1.
The help documentation is wrong for getting the task tray list. Hit
INSERT-F11 for this. It seems to work quite well.
Hope this helps some folks. By the way, most of the things like SAY ALL
mode and cursor shape change are in the SET OPTIONS of the configuration
manager.
