One way to solve your concerns about loosing all your configurations is
to do the following:
1. Go to "my Computer," then to the drive where your original JFW is
installed.
2. Go to the "enu" directory under settings under JFW 32.
3. Press "CTRL-a" to select all the files.
4. Press CTRL-C to copy all the selected files to the clipboard.
5. Move back up to the c: directory, press ALT-F for file, "W" for new, and
create a directory like JFWCFG (or whatever name you choose)
6. Now, go to your newly created directory and press CTRL-V to copy all the
selected setttings files you copied from the c:\jfw32\settings\enu
directory.
Now, if the JFW 3.3 does in fact overwrite the older version, you have your
settings saved in case you want them back again.
Generally, the install program developed by HJ should offer to place your
new JFW in a directory called JFW33 and not interfere with your original
program.
Hope this works for you. I haven't yet had a chance to play with the new
release; bye bye free week-end!
