will jfd run properly?  I ahve jaws 2.31, stell from the old days.  

Let me see if I understand you.  It is not a good idea to have jfd running
at startup?  How do you run dos programs from wind when jfd needs to be run
first?  Does jfd seek properly?  I am talking about the prompt, dir and all
that good stuff?
