I believe the message isn't an actual List View, so you'll need to do the
following:
1)  From the message list, hit Insert+7.  This will put you into the Window
Class utility.
22) Hit Down Arrow once to make sure you have the current class highlighted
in the edit field.  (this step is basically to ensure yourself that you
actually have the puppy active!)
3)  Tab once to the Class selection box and arrow down to "List View".
4)  Tab to "Add class" and whack Enter, then whack Enter again on OK.
Now, you've got an actual List View, so the Insert+Tab works on this list!
