yes this up date disk prompt also showed up on my system, and like you I
said no to both questions, then jfw 3.3 said it would only operate in demo
mode for some period of time ( i forget how long). 
so now after about 40 minutes it shuts itself down, and I then have to
reboot the computer.

this is not great when your in the middle of something.
