I wrote a couple of days ago concerning a problem I had after
unloading Jaws to play a real audio file. When I loaded Jaws, I got
a myriad of messages, fatal exception errors and such, and I even
re-installed Jaws to make sure that wasn't the problem.
After much trial-and-error, I stumbled on the obvious! The volume
settings are messed up, so could some kind soul help with a step-
by-step discussion of what settings to change to bring up the
volume level for soundblaster awe32 sound card!
Also, mediaplayer is not playing, because the system thinks it
wasn't loaded or was in use, and the error number was 80040256, I
think.
At this point, I don't mind if you respond privately or to the
list, since any useful tips will be most appreciated.
