This is not accurate.
The HJ download site doesn't check your JFW serial number. If you download
the beta and you don't have an SMA or your number isn't on the list the beta
will install as a 40 minute demo.
If you are having trouble downloading the beta, the problem is likely your
service or your setup.

Well, if yo have a service contract for jaws, you should contact HJ and tell
them your number is not on the list. If you do not have a contract, they
have it set up so that people can't download and use it. If somehow you
manage to download it and start to install it on your system, you might find
yourself in serious technical trouble besides the fact of it being illegal.
I am not saying you are personally doing something illegal but I'm saying if
any person tries to download and install without having a contract, it will
probably screw up your system big time. There is a warning ont he HJ site
about this and that's probably why you are not able to download. If there
is an error in your number not eing thre, call them tomorrow and I'm sure
they will straighten it out.
