Hi.

You have to copy all the default script files from your laptop to your desktop
machine. The files are:

default.jss
default.jsd
default.jkm
default.jsm

I do not think you will need any other files.

Cheers
Sean.

Hi List,
I hope some one can help!
I recently set up a new desktop computer I will list all the specs as
follows to make sure that it will work with JFW 3.2

1: Pentium 2/233

2: 32 Meg of Ram

3: S3 pci video card with two megs of ram this card has been tested by H J

Well here is the problem.

I was using the modified Default Scripts for JFW3.2 That were created by
Joseph Dunn and others .

They have allways worked great on my laptop the main function that I used
was the script to list the ** Task Tray Icons **
Well I decided to use these scripts on my new Desktop Computer so I cut and
Pasted them from the Notebook Computer and copied them into the enu folder
on the Desktop Computer I copied 9 files over because I did not use my
Default.JCF file from my Notebook for obvious reasons.
Well do you think that these scripts would work on my desktop computer even
when they work fine on the NoteBook computer .
Not ON Your LIFE!!

I will list below how I have the Display Settings configured even though I
now that they are correct.

1: I have the task bar option as Allways on top.

2: I have the screen set to 800 by 600 and set at 256 colours.

3: I have no Screen savers or background wallpaper setup.

Now here is the very frustrating problem.

When I hit the Insert plus Grove key which is suppose to bring up a list of
all ** Task Tray Icons ** I only ever get one graphic in the list even when
I know that their should be at least 6 or more.

I can go along to the task bar with the Jaws Curser and eventually find all
the other Task Tray Icons but as you can appreciate this takes for ever.
What I can't understand is that these same Default Scripts will work floor
lessly on the notebook computer and I know that they should work on my
desktop computer

Any Ideas?

Maybe there is some other setting that I can check.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Steve...
