Thank you to everyone who responded to my 2 general inquiries. Looks like I should get that sound blaster live card and the doubletalk external speech synthesizer. That's the summary of my responses. I will look into the sound blaster 128 card as well. So many issues to think about. Since I'm upgrading my work computer and buying a home machine, all of these solutions may come in handy.
