Leonard,
I ran into a situation not unlike yours with win95 recently. It turned out
that the user had jfw both in their startup menu and run jaws first set.
Lans, what a mess. I had to catch one of them at the right moment--one
where the two jfws weren't fighting--and shut it down.
Don't know if that's your problem, but worth a shot.
