Hi Listers, Thanks to K.Washington's clue that Audio Catalyst worked in Windows 98 before JFW was installed, I have been able to work around the GDI (Graphics Display Interface) conflict. Apparently, with some video drivers, JFW is causing this conflict even after it is shut down. I tried running Audio Catalyst with another screen reader without running JFW first. It worked fine with the Matrox Mystique PCI card that it had failed with before. I will try the Matrox Productiva 100G AGP card tonight. So the bottom line is, until something changes with JFW that will prevent the conflict, you will have to use another screen reader with Audio Catalyst if you have one of the affected video cards.
