Hi.
Make sure you have uninstalled the Active Desctop option.
Do this in control pannel/ad/remove programs
-Find Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0
-Click the Add/Remove button
-I believe the third option in the radio buttons is for removing the active
desctop.

Subject: JFW not reading menus properly
Hi Folks
I've just installed Win98 and JFW 3.2 on a new machine and carried out the
various steps suggested by listers over the past few weeks for getting the
best out of my system. However, if I open up a menu, JFW will not read the
top level menus. There is no problem if I open up a sub-menu though. Any
suggestions how I can get JFW to read the File, Edit, etc?
