Listers...Just to let you know..... watch out for the turbo mode button.
I was able to determine the major problem was that the computer was not in
turbo mode. The 486 has a turbo mode that actually works. Speech is
understandable when the computer is in turbo mode.

System: JFW3.2, 486 dx 100, 32meg, win 98, Creative Labs Sound card,
Hercules Stingray Video card.
Eloquence Speech started out to be okay, breaking up only when starting up
ms word, outlook express, or major software. Appeared to run okay for
months. Now without any known changes speech is breaking almost all the
time. Only one major application is being run at a time.
Are there any known problems / solutions / technical debugging procedures?
Is there something that might have inadvertently changed to cause the speech
to breakup.
I would like to get this configuration working until new Pentium system can
be obtained.
Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.
