Hi Donna, what version of doubletalk do you have? the chip has to be a
version 3 or beter to work properly with jfw. if you have the doubletalk
utility disk, run the utility program to see if you have the more updated
version. It costs $45.00 to have the doubletalk LT.

Subject: Problem with JFW 3.2 and External Doubletalk settings.
Hi all:
I have had a major problem since I upgraded to the jfw 3.2. I am not able
to change settings for rate, pitch, volume and the other things while using
doubletalk.
I have written to Henter Joyce, called Tech support and asked around but
still cannot get this to work properly.
I have been told to change file names in the jfw directory, do a reinstall,
but still have not had any luck. I am almost to the point of changing
speech programs because I love my doubletalk and if it will not work
properly with this program then the program will have to go.
I was told that I could have been installing jfw wrong but not the case as I
have had people who set this equipment up on a daily basis try to help me
with this and were unable to come up with any answers that would work.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
