I believe that the JAWS cursor is left active on purpose. The function of the
insert-c command is to read the word in context. The
JAWS cursor is left active, giving you the power to make the decision about what to do
with the information. I like it this way, and I
hope it is left alone.
Btw, in most cases in the Word 97 spell checker, this command shouldn't be necessary.
One of the controls in that dialog presents
the flagged word or phrase with some of the text around it. The insert-c command
could give you more information.
