i wrote last week that the alki product could be bought from p c
connections, well i was in error.
actually they carry the alki foreign language spell checkers, but not the
medical one.
so i am posting the direct number of alki.
p c connections does carry the other medical spell checkers if anybody is
interested.

in addition their medical spell checker is 70,000 words, and it is added
directly to the regular spell checker in word.
so running the word spell checker corrects all misspellings that it knows
of, result no learning curve.
plus any screen reader that works with word spell checker works with alki.

now remember that this product is dependant on the version of word one uses.
so if you are going to use word 8, the version in office 97, then one needs
to get the specific version of alki for word 8.
one other advantage of directly adding it to the word spell checker that
first appears in office 97, is that spell checker in word is the same one
used in access and other office aps like outlook express.
so one can enjoy the benefit of correct medical spellings in their data
base or e mail.
