I don't have the new patch, nor have I upgraded to JFW 3.3 but I think
I know what the problem is here.
My husband tells me that if you write May 23rd in some fonts in Word,
or with some setting checked, he does not know which one, that Word
inserts a subscript for the RD and makes it smaller. I would assume
that something similar is happening to you, it probably has something
to do with one of the automatic features, I haven't seen this on my
computer yet.
