Look in the JFW.INI file instead. Scroll down the file until you get to the
synthesizer block. Look for the line that says synth#Port=..
By the way, use NotePad or the JAWS script manager to open the file.
Hope this helps.
Vince.

Subject: jfw and dectalk install
I am trying to install 3.3 with a dectalk express on a Windos 95 system. I
am not sure what com port I have. I have tried to open the dte.jls file.
Upon doing so, I discovered it wasn't a microsoftword file. Is there any
other way to discover what comport it is on?
