Hi,
The setup program is found in the \msie50 directory, and is called
iesetup.exe. So, if your CD is drive d, run
d:\msie50\iesetup.exe
A word of warning: I ran this program on a friend's system yesterday and it
conked out in mid-install for no apparent reason. There wasn't any program
error or illegal operation, it just quit, saying that not all components
could be installed. No problem, though. I just restarted the machine, let
it update shortcuts and personal settings, et cetera. Upon restarting
iesetup, I was advised that I could resume the installation, which I did.
It sailed on through to conclusion with no other apparent glitches.
