Yes, Acrobat Reader 3.1 works.
First, you have to install the plug-in. This must be done properly (meaning
it's easy to make a mistake, so double check).
When you start the reader, you have to choose the Access View. Use
Control+q. You may also find it most convenient to get rid of the bookmark
display, which is a separate column down the left side of the screen. Use
Control+6.
