I had a similar problem when I modified my scripts and forgot to close a
quote sign.
The command was similar to the following:
SayString("hllo world)

Subject: Script and spaces

Hello hello,
I use Win98 with JFW 3.3 with the patch. When I modify default.jss and
try to save it, the system gives me that illegal operation message and
takes me out of the Script manager! As result, I can save default.jss,
but it does not make it to compile it. I haven't try compiling on other
files, yet. Did anyone experience this?

Koji
