Michel,
I rather think you can say "goodbye" to the idea of Jaws saying
"goodbye" prior to shutdown unlless Henter-Joyce makes some
modifications to its shutdown jaws function. This is a built-in
function of jaws, the shutdown jaws script file, which is attached to
the insert-f4 keystroke, merely accesses that function. Because it is
a built-in function, modifications to it by end-users are not possible.
The function could be modified to take a string argument to be spoken
prior to shutdown, for example, (it presently accepts no arguments) but
since this reflects personal preference rather than anything remotely
necessary for JFW to operate well, I am doubtful that any such
modifications will be forthcoming.
