reading lines more than once in outlook express

Hi everyone,  I just rejoined this list after several months away trying to
teach myself JFW, windows 98, outlook express and internet explorer.  Having
a good time doing it, but have now encountered the problem of JFW reading
one or more lines of e-mail messages more than once before stopping at the
bottom of the screen.  It does it with both the pc and jaws cursors, and
just started it this evening.  Thanks for any help you can give.
