Les, I see this all the time too. Several things come into play. The
main problem is that Word thinks more than 80 characters can be displayed
in the window. Several things can change it's mind. The width of the
window, for one thing. I am not quite certain how to make the window
always limited to a certain width. Lowering the screen resolution should
have made a difference, but you might have to restart the computer to see
it. Also, font size will affect this but you don't always have the
option of using large font on a document you are going to edit and save
since that gets stored with the document. Likewise with narrowing the
margins.
But, if the overrun is due to lots of white space on the left side of the
display, a good setting to mess with is Pixels Per space under Advanced
Options in the config manager. When decreased, this setting wil remove
some of the blank space from the left side of the display.
The only other option I know about is to use the braille panning keys
rather than next line.
