hello there my name is Jarrod please email me at
[EMAIL PROTECTED]
if you would like to talk to me personally about this. I don't know a lot
about the card, but I got it last month. Like you I would like to learn
about it. I did notice the same thing you noticed. What I did is bypass
the auto dection and use the cd to install the drivers and software. Then
I got a file called sbw9up.exe or something like that. I then used this
file to upgrade what I installed. You will need to do this because the
drivers that come on the cd do not work with eliquence. The speech will
studer a lot. once you install the upgrade you will notice a lot of
improvment.
Me my self I am using the microsoft speech ingen with jfw 3.3 and love it
better than the eliquence. I am running the demo until I have the money to
register the jfw program. I do have jfw 3.2, but don't have the money to
upgrade.

I do have a question for you too. What file did you get for the
soundblaster live card that is 26MB I told you the one that I got and it
wasn't that big that I recall I think that it was only 5MB.
