Many of us do not have the time to read all messages that cross this
list. Personally, I just look at the subject line. And then, if it
seems like something I know about or have an interest in, I will read
messages in the digest that all have that same subject line. In scanning
through the subject lines, I find that it takes much more time if many
people start their subject lines with something like "jfw 3.3.25 and
whatever application". This forces me to sit through the JFW3.3.25 and"
part which is not the key part of the subject line. It is assumed, since
the message is on this list, that the message has something to do with
some build of JFW. And the version information is only of interest if I
have first chosen to read this message. So, my preference would be that
people put the key information first. What is unique about this message.
For example, instead of saying Subject: "JFW 3.3.25 and Audiograbber",
It would help me if you said Subject: "AudioGrabber and JFW 3.3.25". The
first thing I hear is AudioGrabber. So, immediately, I know what this
message is about. That saves me time, and I very much appreciate that.
There is a lot of traffic here, and little things like that can make the
difference.

Thanks so much,
