WINDOWS 95 VS WINDOWS 98

I  have a question for people who have used windows 95 and upgraded to
windows
98.
I was told that windows 98 runs 40% slower than windows 95 and I was
wondering if this was true or not.
The spects on my computer is as follows: 300 MHz. C.P.U., 64 MEGS of
R.A.M., & a 3 GIG Hard Drive.
