Unless a script author decides to include version information that might
be spoken when Insert+Q is pressed, there is no way other than to look at
the file dates ... which may or may not be useful depending on whether or
not you've modified and recompiled the script. While it's probably too
late to begin agitating for such a standard, it's too bad that each script
didn't contain an easily-changed variable that would be picked up and
automatically spoken when Insert+Q is performed. It should be pretty easy
to get a version number and compile date in there and the only thing that
the programmer would have to remember would be to change the version
number ... the compile date should be available automatically.
