I think you are terribly wrong.
How many times has jfw shared the existence of a problem like this with us?
The way that Robert Inglebritin--forgive me for badly mangling the spelling
of names--handled it was perfectly correct. The way that Stasy Smith
followed up was wrong. But, there's common sense and then...
So, I say, don't refrain from letting us know about naughty words, just do
it with consideration for your fellow listers.
