Did you check the original folder to see if the new folder was created
under it? I ask because I think that is what would happen based on
your description of what you did. It's also possible that the new
folder wil not be named jfw2, but rather something incorporating all
of what you typed in that line. Also, did you check to make sure your
messages didn't end up in your deleted items folder?
Anyway, this may not help you get your messages back, but for future
reference, I think you'll need to create the folder before you try
moving messages into it. And when you move from the message list, the
move command is under the Edit menu rather than under the File menu.
