eloquence repeating itself

Hi,

Lately, when I go into Eudora lite, eloquence repeats itself and studders.
 I have the microsoft speech api drivers installed along with ms speech and
lernout speech.  When I uninstall the ms api drivers, eloquence won't talk
at all!  How do I keep eloquence from studdereing?  Is this a jaws script
problem?

I also recently installed ppp boost, which boosts my internet connection
efficiency.  Could this be the problem?
