While viewing your inbox or for that matter most other boxes in your mail
program in list view format and Using Outlook Express, choose the context
menu key adjacent to the left of the right control key or right mouse click
one time to bring up the context menu on yur numpad and arrow through your
choices. Choose move to and press enter and then press the first letter of
the name of your new mail box or folder. Press the letter key several times
until it announces the box you desire to move that message to. Press
enter. It will automatically move the message for instance from the inbox,
where you started to your desired box "tips", when you do this. Then you
will continue in the inbox.

When you are in the list view of your inbox you can get a tree view by tab
key press once or twice, which will place you in the "tree view" window.
While in the "treeview" window press the letter of the name of the box you
desire until you hear it announced. Then press enter and tab once. You are
now in the list view format of that box.

Hope this helps.
