No, but I've noticed what seems to be a lot more disk thrashing with ie5.
Could you have a disk full condition? or something like that? I get the
feeling that ie5 and oe5 are much bigger disk hogs, especially when it comes
to news groups. There's a lot more disk activity and no indication as to
what's going on.
