I wonder where you have got stuck?
First, if you didn't install BNS as one of your synths when installing
JAWS, you will need the following lines in your JFW.INI:
Synth3Name=bns
Synth3LongName=Braille 'n Speak
Synth3Port=com1:9600,n,8,1
Synth3Driver=bns
Of course, change the number of the synth (in my case it is 3) to suit.
Also amend the Comm port if necessary.
You will also need the BNS.JLS file from your CD to be placed in your
\JFWXX folder.
Now, all you have to do is to check you have the BNS parameters set to
their defaults. (The easiest way to do this is to perform a Warm Reset).
After this, plug in your BNS lead, turn on the BNS, select speech box mode
with 345-chord, 123456-chord, and it should work for you.
I've found it to be a little temperamental sometimes but have had success.
